Earlier this year, as Kim Kardashian prepared for the arrival of her fourth child, she planned a CBD-themed baby shower, complete with a sound bath(!), and told attendees, “No ad, [CBD has] been how I survive in life, so because I’m freaking out and the baby is coming in two weeks, I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD?...I thought it’d be cool for us to do, to zen out on a Saturday, so everyone have a puff or put on some oil!”

(Prior to that, she’d taken to Instagram to share her love for the CBD salve from Beverly Hills-based spa Pellequr, writing, “Anyone that knows me knows that I am obsessed with CBD everything! This is not an ad lol.”)
