Morning Must-Haves?
I always start my day with a gratitude practice, sitting up in bed before I get moving, thinking of three things I'm grateful for. It reminds me of my blessings, and puts me in an abundance mindset before things get crazed. Then I make my version of a Bulletproof [coffee]. I make a pour-over in my Chemex, which is a meditative process in its own right. I add a tablespoon of coconut oil and some Bulletproof protein powder, and then head out for a morning workout or to go about my day. I really liked adding the Sträva CBD coffee into my routine. My little concoction always keeps me full through lunch, but this added a nice element of focus.
Afternoon Pick-Me-Up?
Not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for sugar and snacking when my energy levels are low. Since I work from home, it's all too easy to sneak into the kitchen and poke around for treats, so these days I've been opting to take my little Shiba Inu, Bento, for a walk instead. Stepping away from the desk for a few minutes and getting some fresh air gets my brain back into the zone.
Nighttime Necessities?
I wish I could afford to be a skincare junkie, but I'm really simple when it comes to that stuff, especially since I don't wear makeup daily. I usually cleanse with Fresh's Soy Cleanser, then apply my LilyAna Naturals' Retinol Cream Moisturizer and some sort of night oil to seal it in. I really loved the Kana Skincare Lit Hemp Face Oil because it didn't smell like hemp and kept me nice and hydrated. It's also nice for a little boost before the gym if I'm needing a little glow before a nighttime workout.
